This is such a special family to me and Gerard. Glen videographed our wedding in 2007 and I didn’t know it at the time, but they were at the height of an incredible journey to add to their family. I’ve watched Jill & Glen go from their family of two to the day she told me she’d finally be an adopting mom of twin girls. I don’t think I’ll ever forget the day she came to me and told me her long awaited answer to prayer. Nora & Lily are spit-fires of energy and sass and as tiring as it may be some days, I don’t think they’d have it any other way. Gerard was especially jealous of me getting to hang out with this family because these girls could really teach his show choir kiddos a thing or two about expressiveness in the facial musculature. 🙂

We gave the girls a running break and I focused on just Jill & Glen for a moment…
A brief consult to refocus the girls…I love the compassion in Jill’s body language while trying to get her girls to listen & obey.
One moment, they can be just as compassionate…and the next….
