My time as a high school teacher taught me how to instantly connect with teens and make them feel comfortable in front of the camera. I love photographing high school seniors all over the Greater Des Moines Metro and Midwest (yes, I’m willing to travel).

Hi, I'm Carrie

This post is a two-weekend spread. Our sweet Tommy-boy turned the ONE and I captured a few images from his party and celebration. The full family photos are from their One Year Session a weekend later and I absolutely adore how expressive Tommy is. His older sister, Natalie was the same way. 🙂

We’ve done a pretty good job of having Tommy’s sessions be the same location as Natalie’s at that same age. It’s a pretty sweet and charming feeling to now photograph Natalie as a FOUR year old!!

Greg + Kelsey: You guys are awesome! Your sweet kiddos are so fun to work with and, if I’m being honest, play with! Keep it up-you guys are doing a great work here!
