Sitting in the car waiting for the Man of the Hour to arrive, a truck pulled up and it was the type of situation where I just didn’t want to be seen! Face the other way, face the other way…and then he won’t see me……oh wait, it’s Soren’s Dad! Silly me. Gradually, Soren’s entourage arrived: Dad from the gym, Mom from work and finally, Soren himself with Auntie M. I know it takes a village, but this was a prime example of it.
The Honoree had several ensembles from which to choose. First, since it was, in fact, Halloween, we kept him in this little onesie:
Not only paying homage to Halloween, we also payed homage to the World Series. Soren may be one of the Cardinals’ youngest fans:
Then we got into some “just chillin'” clothes for the comfy ride home. Soren’s mama is really good at accessorizing and I wanted to highlight that in several of our photos this shoot.
It’s crazy-awesome to see your reflection in a child’s eyes. Literally.
It’s also really awesome to photograph a baby with eyelashes for miles…
