There are no words to describe that haven’t already been said about the season of life we are all in. In short, I’m thankful for clients who trust me to move forward in this new environment in which we will be photographing their families & seniors, documenting special stages in their lives. The first session I’ve been entrusted with is Leah & Neil and their newest addition to their family: Baby T! She is the youngest of now 4 girls (sorry Neil!) We’re doing our session in two parts-documenting Baby T as she is at this young 3 week stage and we’ll do the whole family when her older sisters’ outfits arrive in the mail. 🙂
While it was a challenge to me to not touch Baby T or Leah for a hair fly-away rearrangement or adjust Baby T on her blanket, I knew it was the right choice to make for a clear conscience. Laying her on the blanket with flowers was her oldest sister, Sedelle’s idea and that girl worked to make it happen! Sedelle has really stepped up to the plate to help Mom & Dad in this time of transition. It’s SO fun to watch these Littles grow in front of my camera each year!
Leah & Neil: Thank you so much for having me out to document Baby T and your trust especially in our current environment. Your family is so dear to me and I have loved photographing your family through the years as the girls have grown. I am in awe each time we get together of how calm you are in the midst of the chaos that is a family session at times. I greatly admire your strength as parents! Keep it up, you’re doing great!
