Oh, it feels good to be shooting again!! I photographed this sweet couple’s engagement and wedding and now, they are blessed with twin boys. We are praying for them to be May babies and so far, so good. These little boys are much prayed & waited for, Jen & Jacob have an incredible support system just as eager to assist when they make their appearance.
It was a thrill to be shooting safely and outdoors on a true Iowa spring day-breezy chilly, but the sun was shining and it was fresh air! Without further adieu, here are Jen & Jacob’s maternity photos:
When she got out of the car, I squealed with delight because I loved her dress & Jen was just beaming. Pregnancy looks great on you, friend! We met at the same place we did their wedding photos and the riverbed was dry enough that we ventured down into the watershed area to reenact one of their favorite wedding photos:
We did a quick location change to wrap up our time together though we definitely chatted in the parking lot to catch up on life in general. These two are the first I’ve seen from church in person in practically a year!
Jen-you are incredibly strong. And I know it’s not like you have a choice in the matter, to walk the road you two have walked to achieve a pregnancy, but the resiliency you have shown amidst the challenges of a multiple pregnancy…I’m just in awe and so thankful for your positive attitude.
Jacob-you’ve got a tough cookie alongside you, but you already know that. Thank you for being Jen’s rock in the crazy roller coaster of this journey. You are so wonderful & I’m thankful for your go-with-the-flow approach to any crazy idea Jen & I might conjure up.
To you both: I’m so blessed & honored to follow your family’s story and be with you to document it. Thank you for trusting me with this! Can’t wait to meet these two bundles!
