My time as a high school teacher taught me how to instantly connect with teens and make them feel comfortable in front of the camera. I love photographing high school seniors all over the Greater Des Moines Metro and Midwest (yes, I’m willing to travel).

Hi, I'm Carrie

They met at work when she was the “intern”. They fell in love and married 5 years ago wanting to start a family, desiring to be parents. God had a different plan. . . for awhile anyway. This journey has had its twists and gut-wrenching turns the likes of which I have no authority to describe, but I’m honored to have the opportunity to share in their adoption journey. If things go according to plan, Glen and Jill will be the proud parents of twin girls by the beginning of May. Here are some shots of an auction held to raise money for their future daughters: from kids that were at the event, to spaghetti strewn tables with well-wishes written on them. The items at the auction were amazing and helped raise over $8000!!! Congratulations to the happy couple. 🙂
