As I was editing these photos, I kept thinking that there are so many reasons FOR giving photos to people: special occasions like weddings, a child’s milestone, graduating seniors etc. For this particular family, it was to commemorate 50 years of marriage. FIFTY YEARS. Gerard and I will celebrate 15 this summer with a newborn shortly thereafter, if she hasn’t arrived already and I can’t help but ponder all that he and I have walked through in those 15, let alone FIFTY.
Anyone married for 50 years is on a special pedestal in my book and I loved getting to know a #cksenior’s extended family a little better in our very short (because it was COLD) time together. 🙂 Nana even brought her wedding veil! These two were absolutely adorable and my heart was so encouraged to give them these photos for their special occasion.
Mauro Family : You guys were such champs with the chilly evening-thank you for sticking with me! It was a pleasure to meet everyone and I hope you had a lovely dinner celebrating the treasures in your family giving you such an example in their 50 years!
