Jason and Janene have two children — and thanks to those children marrying two amazing people — they now have eight wonderful grandchildren!
I’ve had the privilege of photographing this family since the very beginning of my business, long before there were eight grandkids running around. Watching their family grow and change through the years has been such a treasure.
Every session feels like coming home — full of laughter, inside jokes, and that special kind of chaos that only cousins can create. Mike and Angie’s three beautiful girls and Christie and Jeremy’s crew of five always bring so much energy and joy. There’s never a quiet moment when all eight are together — just pure giggles, tight hugs, and the occasional race to see who can make Grandma and Grandpa laugh the hardest. (And maaaaaybe a ribbing or two!)

What I love most about this family is how deeply they enjoy being together. You can see the love — in the way Jason and Janene watch their grandkids play, in the way the cousins look out for each other, and in the way every single person genuinely shows up for family photos-even the youngest ones who’d rather be climbing trees (the boys) or reading books (the oldest girl).
After starting with the largest group option first, we then broke it down into family units, couples and individual children (even though the oldest grandchild is a college graduate now!!)

Watching this family’s story unfold year after year has been one of the greatest honors of my photography journey. I can’t wait to see what the next season holds for them — and to keep documenting the joy, connection, and laughter that always seems to follow wherever they go.
