When I asked a few of her friends to describe her, words like “quiet” and “reserved” came to mind. But also, “quick to smile” and “quick to laugh”. True to their words, Macy showed up quiet and reserved with lots of smiles and giggles for her senior portrait session, but she left our time together doing a few more things too. Like, how to pop a hip for some “attitude” and I pray that she left feeling like a model because she is one gorgeous young woman, inside and out.
It also helped bring out a few extra smiles to have my trusty side-kick, Faith, along with me. She and Macy go to the same school, so having a familiar face, a common tie between us, helped the atmosphere relax much more quickly.

I’d photographed at the Art Center before but hadn’t explored this area to its fullest. I’m so appreciative of Macy’s flexibility and willingness to try new things!

Macy-Thank you so much for trusting me with your senior photos. I know the future may not be clear right now, but I also know that you can trust God to lead you to His will for your life. Keep praying, keep seeking! It was loads of fun to spend time with you and get to know you better. Thank you for taking risks with me and your humble willingness to try new things.
