You wouldn’t think it’d be so difficult to see so close of a friend, but for Julie and I, the stars nearly have to align perfectly for our schedules to collide. After a brief phone call Sunday, we realized that within 24 hours, we could actually see each other! Julie (and her sister, Laura) moved heaven and earth (and 5 kids) to come down to West Des Moines for some mall playtime, lunch, and Clayton’s 9 month photos. Whew!
God held off the rain until we were done with Clayton’s close-ups and we were able to enjoy the indoor mall play area while it thundered outside. The stars really did align….and Clayton was even super happy to pose for me. What could be better than all of that?! mmmm, I’d say close to nothing else.

Isn’t he a cutie? Thank you Julie for the efforts it took to come down to Des Moines. I hope it made your life easier to not only hang out with a friend, but mark a milestone of Clayton’s in the process! We definitely have to hang out again soon. 🙂
