Melissa had a co-worker who kept raving about their son’s photos and apparently other people in the office agreed:
is quite convincing…So, Melissa called me for a family session and I met them last Friday for some clicks of the camera.
We started with full family photos and went with the flow for Calvin’s & Alivia’s close-ups. 🙂
It never ceases to amaze me how intricately different God made boys from girls. How do I capture Calvin’s photos? Run with him and make it a race after he plays with sticks and dirt.
How do I capture Alivia’s photos? A nice soft fleece blanket, headbands with flowers and pearls. Completely girl and I LOVED IT.

As is customary, oftentimes, one my top 5 images are typically the last frame I shoot. Capturing interaction from a different angle can lead to wonderful results. I love Melissa’s lashes in this one and the action between mother-son.
