Liz’s name graced our church’s prayer list under the “Pregnancy” category around the same time my name popped up on it too. That’s pretty much all I knew of her and Drew: that our girls were quite close in age. And I was ecstatic when she contacted me to actually photograph them! After having a red headed niece and nephew myself, I always have a special place in my heart for sweet gingers.
Madilynn was so calm, sweet, and cooperative. I love her grins!
Lilah was equally calm and easy going. (side note: who says red heads can’t wear pink? These girls rocked it!)
Both Liz & Drew are pretty heavily involved in local politics here in Des Moines, but also because Lilah was born near the 4th of July…we thought we’d throw back to the ol’ red, white & blue. 🙂
Can you just imagine what these expressions will look like on a 16 year old someday? The top right one really cracks me up. 🙂
Liz & Drew: Thank you so much for the privilege of photographing your sweet girls. They are so adorable and I hope to see them through my lens again soon! It’s wonderful to see what kind of families our own little girl will interact with through the various programs in our church as she gets older. The future definitely looks bright, you guys are doing great!
