Looking at the weather forecast, I could see that we had a narrow window before snow began to fall and my last outdoor session of the 2014 year would be complete just in time! Her parents came completely prepared for the frosty weather with coats, blankets, and hot chocolate. Evelyn was a champ and we eeked out some smiles despite her frigid little fingers. 🙂
One of the fun things I’ve noticed as a parent is that you get to slow down with your child and take in something that’s “everyday” to you and experience it anew. Such is the case with Evelyn and pinecones (above) and some hot chocolate (below):
We did some running to get the blood flowing back to our extremities and that got Evelyn perked up and smiling!
Brandon + Abbey: You guys are so much fun! I wish the weather had been warmer so we could’ve spent more time getting to know each other. Evelyn was such a trooper and did so well-I can’t wait to see her as she grows up and her spunk comes out even more. I wish you guys a very happy holiday season and enjoy these photos!
