Setting my camera bag down to get a lay of the land, I heard the familiar chirps from Tasha’s pet bird in her living room. I couldn’t help but remember her love of birds that we captured on their wedding day in 2009. Now, two children later, Tasha asked me to photograph her second child-Aeson. Due to a few complications after delivery, Aeson was three weeks old when these were taken and while he didn’t necessarily want to scrunch up much anymore, we did get some great images to document his tininess for posterity’s sake. 🙂
Because it was such a warm day outside, we took the rest of their family’s photos in their lovely landscaped yard. And it worked out beautifully that this session kicked off Father’s Day weekend for Aaron-with Jordan’s favorite past time as picking dandelions, he got ample “presents” throughout our session!
Tasha + Aaron: Thank you so much for trusting me with this special time in your lives! I’m so glad Aeson is doing well and that your recovery has been smooth sailing. Jordan is such a sweetie and Aeson endured his modeling debut quite well. I hope we see each other again soon!
