On occasion, I have the pleasure of second shooting for a friend on a wedding day. Sometimes, I know the photographer beforehand and other times, I gain a new friend in addition to creating great images for their client. One Saturday in April was one such opportunity when I shot for Sarah Heimbruch of Captured Memories by Sarah.
For all you Star Wars fans, the bride, Carrie, had gifted her groom and his men with Star Wars characters on their cufflinks. I had to get a close up. 🙂
Carrie & Aaron opted for a First Look which allowed them ample time to get their portraits taken, family photos complete, all before the ceremony so that they could enjoy their guests longer at the reception. And with reactions like this from Aaron, I’m pretty sure Carrie was really thankful they went with this route.

While their guests moved from the ceremony site to the reception, we snagged a few photos at a nearby park to include their bulldog who was so attentive and excited to be a part of the show!
