This family is so sweet to its core. Even when Ms. Charlotte wasn’t really interested in photos, we still were able to achieve some great captures of my short time with Sara & Tom. Since both of them work at Drake University, it made sense to meet them there and go where Charlotte was familiar. We started in front of Old Main, and had some fun in the leaves before heading back inside for a break from the blustery afternoon.
It was pretty chilly, so we took a snack break inside to thaw before taking a walk over to The Painted Street. But not before a few choice glances from Charlie….
The Painted Street holds fun memories for me as a Drake Alum as a tradition in conjunction with the ever-famous Drake Relays, but to see an 18-month old walk along it, was a totally different setting, especially now, as a mom….
Sara + Tom: Thank you so much for trusting me to document this time in the life of your young family. I especially appreciated where you chose to have your session and I hope you enjoy the memories made! Charlotte is darling and I’m excited to see her again in front of my camera soon!
