True to form, when I showed up to the church for his big day, Kyle helped me bring my gear in from my car. Always serving others, even on a day that’s solely for him, and of course, his bride, Keli. I met Kyle in college and it was almost surreal to finally be documenting his marriage to sweet and precious Keli.
There probably aren’t enough words to describe Kyle & Keli in a mere blog post and their love for others. They surrounded themselves with those they love most on their wedding day and it was a sincere honor to capture all their special moments.
Their day was sincere and simple, focusing on what truly matters most: love and becoming a family. Keli & Kyle opted to see each other before their ceremony which helped move their day so smoothly!
We brought the bridal party in for the larger grouped photos and the guys had an especially great time harassing Kyle for genuine smiles.
I, along with everyone else in the room, thought that there were just going to be the typical dances: First Dance, Father/Daughter, Mother/Son. But what no one knew, except Kyle, what was to come after those were completed. Kyle, true to form as a basketball fan, rallied the fans that made up his bridal party and helped them lead their guests in a rousing dance of the Hokey Pokey. A one-of-a-kind reception and one we won’t forget any time soon!!
Kyle + Keli: You two are absolutely amazing and I’m so grateful for your friendship and the love directed my way on a day that was all your’s. You two are incredibly kind, loving and compassionate and I can’t wait to see how the Lord moves in your lives.
