Emily and Jonathan are Bulldogs at heart, having met in Bible study when Emily was a freshman. Their casual acquaintance turned into a working relationship when asked to organize an event for their church together. This planning led to being on the same 4×4 sand volleyball team for a couple of seasons before they’d make a great team-just the two of them. Emily is an organizational guru. Her timelines for events: smooth & flawless. I can only imagine what her wedding day with Jonathan will look like this summer!
We went to several different locations for their engagement session and I love the diversity it created for their gallery. While the scenery might have changed a few times, their affection for one another definitely didn’t!
We hopped over to our church and played with the great natural light that flows from a few of the windows in the building. It was the perfect place for outfit changes too!
We wrapped our session with a view of the Des Moines skyline and despite blustery & chilly conditions, these two worked to keep each other toasty warm!
