Some families make you feel like you’ve known them for years, even when you’ve only just met.
Stephanie first reached out through a mutual connection, and I’m so thankful she did! One of my favorite parts of this job is the people it brings into my life, and spending the evening with Stephanie, Jordan, Jace, Eli, and Mimi felt like reconnecting with old friends.
And can we talk about the fact that they arrived 10 minutes early with a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old?! Parents everywhere know that’s an accomplishment worthy of celebration all by itself. 😂
Jace and Eli spent most of the evening doing exactly what little boys are supposed to do—running, exploring, and staying on the move. There were a few strategic snack and hydration breaks mixed in, but otherwise these two were busy making the most of a beautiful Iowa evening.
After a week of constantly watching the forecast and wondering what Mother Nature had planned, this session felt like a gift. No rain clouds, comfortable temperatures, and the perfect backdrop for documenting this sweet season of life.
